My God! It's a Lot (Awladi) is an exploration of my shifted inner world. No experience or view is seen as is, rather as a thing filtered through the lens of the ongoing occupation of Palestine and genocide of its people. 

This piece is meant to give the viewer a glimpse of what it is to live in my mind by forcing them to approach the unadorned side and shifting to experience my every thought as a vision marred by the deluge of departure and death, the over 14,500 beads a tribute to the each child killed by the IOF since the escalation between October 2023 to the present. The new world in which I live is one of compounded, unending grief and forced optimism. For me, all roads lead to Gaza.

The companion piece Press represents the over 140 journalists and photographers killed since the retaliation from 7 October. One untimely, unjustified death is too many, and in light of that 140 journalists...14,500 children... 34,789 citizens is an abomination.
